WHAT
IS CSRD?

CSRD stands for Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive and is the European Commission's directive for sustainability reporting. From 2025, it will be mandatory for many companies to report their climate impact in accordance with this directive.

Companies covered by CSRD must comply with mandatory standards for sustainability reporting, called ESRS (European Sustainability Reporting Standards). It covers, among other things, climate, social issues and corporate governance. A central focus of ESRS is reporting of Scope 3 emissions category 1, i.e. emissions from food and drink.

WHO IS AFFECTED BY CSRD?

CSRD affects companies within the EU that are covered by the EU's reporting requirements for sustainability issues. Implementation of the CSRD will begin in 2025 and apply to fiscal year 2024, with full rollout by 2028 for fiscal year 2027. Companies that must comply with these rules include large corporations and publicly traded companies, but the requirements may also include smaller companies that are part of larger supply chains.

HOW WE HELP YOU

Klimato collects and calculates your data to facilitate sustainability reporting according to CSRD. Millum ensures that you have access to all relevant raw data, after which Klimato calculates this data into emission statistics in accordance with Scope 3 category 1. We also aid in comprehensive reporting assistance to cover all parts within CSRD.

Through our collaboration, you save time and get help in meeting some of the complex reporting requirements for CSRD.

Klimato also allows climate-conscious companies to seamlessly integrate climate data through Millum, in order to easily showcase the climate impact of each dish served on your menu.
